After DOJ Nom FAIL, Gaetz Says He's Not Coming Back to Congress
Matt Gaetz was never a serious choice for Attorney General, even if Trump wanted the most loyal of loyalists leading the Justice Department. Removing himself from the nomination was always going to be the end result. But would he make a return to Congress? He technically could as soon as January, but said on Friday he's not planning to come back. (Not "planning" on it? Hmm...)

More context: Gaetz's ethics scandals — including claims he had sex with an underage teenage girl — led to his nomination's demise. The nail in the coffin came when CNN was set to report on ANOTHER person who Gaetz slept with when that person was not yet 18 years old.
Morning Woah: Scarborough's Ratings Plunge After Kissing Trump's Ring
Ratings for the morning MSNBC program "Morning Joe" have absolutely TANKED after the two main hosts of the show (Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough) announced a "reset" in how they report on Trump. The two even met with him at Mar-a-Lago after his election win (they may have had ulterior motives for doing so). The drop in viewership shows that such moves by the media will not be accepted by mainstream audiences — and that media in general needs to continue challenging Trump, not just for good ratings, but also for good democracy.

Didja Know? Most Didn't Vote for Trump
Yes, Trump won the Electoral College, AND he won the Popular Vote. But the popular vote tracker at Cook Political Report shows that, with most the votes in, Trump only won a plurality of votes — meaning more people voted for a different candidate earlier this month than for him.
